The 3 days Queen Elizabeth NP begins and ends in Kampala. This tour takes you to one of the most diversified parks in East Africa with a population of about 100 mammal species, 607 bird species and 7 primate species. you will have a chance to glance at the park’s cross section of wildlife along the kazinga channel and the crater lakes region in the sunny after noons as well as traditional communities in the Katwe-Kabatooro area.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Our company driver guide will pick you up from your hotel in Kampala after your breakfast and then transfer you to Queen Elizabeth National Park. En route stopover at the equator allows you time for souvenir shopping, photography and the water experiment to prove you that you are on the equator. After the water experiment, you will proceed to Mbarara town for Lunch while enjoying en route views through the vehicle of the Ankole long horned cattle and if lucky the zebras and water bucks grazing harmoniously on the road side farms in Sanga. You will proceed with your journey after lunch and reach Queen Elizabeth NP in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay at Mweya safari lodge / Katara Lodge (Luxury)/ Enganzi Lodge / Queen Elizabeth Bush Lodge (mid range)/ Simba safari lodge/ King Fisher lodge (Budget)

Day 2: Game drive and afternoon Launch cruise
After an early cup of coffee, you will go for the morning game drive along the Kasenyi trail to search for different wildlife especially the cats like lions, hyenas, leopards, jackals as they return from a night hunt as well as other game starting their long day’s search for food and survival. Queen Elizabeth is popular for its 100 mammal species, about 7 primate species and 607 bird varieties. Later visit the Katwe explosion craters. Here you will spot Kitagata Lake and the enormous Kamengo Crater which are some of the high wildlife concentration spots in this park. In the afternoon, go for the launch cruise along the Kazinga Channel where you will be rewarded with wildlife sights of species like the Hippopotami, Waterbucks, Crocodiles, elephants, buffalos, and several antelope species and a variety of Water Birds like the black bee- eater, African fish eagle, African skimmer, pelicans, several species of falcons and the raptors among others. Dinner and overnight stay at Mweya safari lodge / Katara Lodge (Luxury)/ Enganzi lodge / Queen Elizabeth Bush Lodge (mid range)/ Simba safari lodge / King Fisher lodge (Budget)

Day 3, Transfer to Kampala
After your breakfast, you will transfer back to Kampala. En route take a morning game drive as you exit the park expecting to see different animals on your way. Have lunch en route in Mbarara town with a chance to delve into the Ankole culture at Igongo as you enjoy your lunch. Proceed after lunch and reach Kampala in the evening for a drop off at either your Hotel in Kampala or at the Airport for your outbound flight back home.
